Học viện công nghệ và học tập nâng cao Humber (Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning) hay còn được gọi là Humber College, được thành lập vào năm 1967, nằm tại Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Humber College là một trong những trường Cao đẳng lớn trong hệ thống các trường công lập của Canada và là một trong 12 trường Cao Đẳng tiên phong tại Bắc Mỹ. Trường được đánh giá cao tại Canada, năm 2003, Humber được chính quyền thành phố Toronto chỉ định là một trong 3 “Học viện kỹ thuật và đào tạo cao cấp". Và đạt hạng 6 trong Danh sách 50 trường Cao đẳng Nghiên Cứu tại Canada.
Humber hiện tại có hơn 31.200 sinh viên toàn thời gian (trong đó có hơn 6.000 sinh viên quốc tế) đang theo học tại ba cơ sở chính: cơ sở Humber North, cơ sở Lakeshore và cơ sở Humber Orangeville.
Mục tiêu của Humber là nhấn mạnh vào thực hành, tập trung vào nghề nghiệp. Trường cung cấp hơn 180 chương trình học bao gồm bằng cử nhân, bằng cao đẳng, cao đẳng nâng cao, chứng chỉ và chứng chỉ sau đại học, trên 40 lĩnh vực nghiên cứu. Với hơn 90% số lượng ngành học có thực tập cùng với giáo trình giảng dạy tập trung vào thực hành giúp tỉ lệ sinh viên có việc làm trong 6 tháng sau khi ra trường của Humber đạt ở mức 85%. Trong số các trường cao đẳng ở Toronto, trường có danh tiếng về các khoa CNTT và công nghệ, và được các công ty hỗ trợ rất nhiều. Đây là trường được phù hợp cho những ai muốn kiếm việc làm tại Canada trong tương lai vì trường có hỗ trợ việc làm tốt và tự hào có tỷ lệ việc làm cao hàng năm.
Với ưu thế các lớp học nhỏ, sinh viên dễ dàng tiếp cận và trao đổi với các giảng viên - Các giảng viên của Humber College, ngoài việc phải là những giáo sư với chuyên môn giảng dạy tốt, họ còn phải là những chuyên gia trong chuyên ngành mà họ theo đuổi. Với các mối quan hệ chuyên ngành rộng lớn các giáo sư tại Humber có thể cho các sinh viên của mình những lời khuyên rất hữu ích trong và sau khi bạn tốt nghiệp ra trường. Họ biết rõ những nhà tuyển dụng sẽ cần gì, mong muốn gì ở các sinh viên sau khi học xong.
